Week 8 Reading and Writing

Reading and Writing Review

    Overall I think the reading and writing assignments have really help improve my understanding of the epics. I have to focus more on the plot and character and it helped me understand the messages each story was trying to convey. I am also pretty happy with my blog and project websites. I was trying to have a minimalist kind of page, because I like that style of website, and I feel like I was able to do that. Plus I am pretty satisfied with the few stories I wrote. 

    I think the biggest accomplishment with writing is I feel like I have gotten better at decribtive writing. I also really liked rewriting stories, or from prompt, because I can practice actually writing rather than thinking up ideas. 

    I had to take a big break because something came up, but I am very excited to finish the rest of the Ramayana next week. I really liked the ending of the Mahabharata, and I think the ending of the Ramayana will be jut as good. Also I think it will be beneficial to go back and edit some stories from earlier in the semester, because it will make my writing better. I am looking forward to the rest of this semester.
